How Digital are disrupting Publishers and the need to take their content to a new business model, which is related to content quality with deep investigation, using all type of rich media!

The Past and the Present

Publishers are producing content and putting intrusive ads or native ad content that users don’t like or don’t trust and continue to interrupt instead of making easy to consume content (We understand the need for money to pay the bills on the end of day).

Publisher’s aren’t moving the needle to get new ways of making money instead they are making more of the same, more ads and more native ads, that users can see and understand that are misleading. Publisher’s need to find clever ways that content and ads are different content.

Traditional media like TV need to go digital with strategy or they will be out of the game! Google and Facebook and other want a large piece of the pie!

Now with the coalition for better ads, will be mandatory that publishers need to change the way they make their revenue.

The future

There is lot of opinions about new business model’s, but in my opinion, less ads with better content are a better solution to monetize the content higher.

Publishers can create their audience data that is well segmented by age, gender and interests, providing both advertisers and users to choose what they need.

That is not an easy way since GDPR and Ad networks aren’t easy to comply and challenge the status quo!

Please note that I am not affiliated with none of the companies mentioned. this is a personal opinion and you should get yours as well.
